I won't get into this new revamp of the game too much because if the update can't be done I don't want to disappoint anyone. Lets start with the basic things you could expect in the Revamped n Redone version of Pokemon Darklight, AKA Pokemon Darklight 2.
1) There will be a special item, or certain unlockable as in an ability, character, move or something else. This will be given to many players in the game that deserve it. The first people to receive them will be the admins. Then there will be the top 3 players on the scoreboard, and then people who help contribute to the game with guides, icons, etc. Asking for the unlockable, GM, or having bad behavior could result in a perm loss of ever receiving whatever is going to be the unlockable. Along with no way to get GM.
2) You could expect a city to be added along with the 5th GYM badge which will be very hard to unlock. With 3 Pokemon of level 330-350's each. This gym will let you reach a giant Pokemart with new unlockable outfits, along with giving you access to an all new TM shop, and the HM FLY to fly through cities and towns with ease.
3) The battle system for the game doesn't require much skill at the moment. Examples are having moves that follow your enemies. I will be changing a couple of moves and setting them to non-homing and I will also work on new types of moves that can't be left out on Pokemon games. These moves are beams like Solar beam, and other moves that stop your character from moving as you begin an attack. An example:
X==============)X
"X" are the players while "=" is the beam of the blast and ")" is the end of the blast.
4) A thing that most players would LOVE to have in Pokemon Darklight is the return of the NPC Pokemon to capture. I have thought up the training system to level up your AI(NPC) Pokemon. It will be the same method as leveling up strength and levels at the moment, which is pressing the arrow keys in the right directions. Except the fact that you will get skill points to distribute on your AI Pokemon. To make sure that trainers will still be wanting Player Pokemon the NPC Pokemon will only have the ability to tackle, evolve, rest, and some other basic commands but will lack TM's/HM's.
That's all I'm going to mention for now. Don't expect to see all of these changes immediately as these updates will take about 2 weeks-month to finish depending on how active I'm on it.
That's all for now, and I would like to thank all the players that stuck with Pokemon Darklight instead of all the Pokemon Rips on BYOND.
Thanks, Darklight.
